Mr Fayez Mustafa
Mr Mustafa joined the South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 1996 and has worked as a consultant gynaecologist since 1998. His basic medical training was undertaken at the Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt in 1983, and he became a member (1996) and subsequently Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010.
Mr Mustafa is the consultant lead and director of the Department of Reproductive Medicine at The James Cook University Hospital, a regional tertiary centre for assisted conception where all of the fertility treatments offered by Cleveland Gynaecology and Fertility Centre are performed.
The James Cook University Hospital is part of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and as such is one of Europe’s most modern hospitals offering a range of specialist services.
Mr Mustafa is also the Person Responsible to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), the independent regulator overseeing fertility treatment and research within the UK.
The centre staff
The office in Stokesley is manned two days a week (Monday and Friday) at the following times by Jill, Mr Mustafa’s secretary –

Once your treatment has started you will be looked after by the multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, embryologists, nurses, and admin staff at The James Cook University Hospital.
Location
The Cleveland Gynaecology and Fertility Centre is located in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, an elegant town on the River Leven. Stokesley is ideally situated between the North York Moors to the south and the industrial town of Middlesbrough on the River Tees to the north.

Travel Directions
From the South:
From the A1, take the A19 to Teesside. Follow this road for about 20 minutes. Take the Stokesley turning off. Turn right at the junction onto the High Street. We are just past the Town Hall.
From the North:
Leave the A1 Sedgefield exit sign posted A689, follow the A689 and signs for Teesside and the A19. Join the A19 heading South, leave the A19 at the exit for Whitby, Redcar and ICI Wilton (A174). Follow the A174 along and take the second exit sign posted Coulby Newham and Hemlington (B1365). Follow the B1365 and signposts for Stokesley. Turn right at the sign post which says Stokesley (local traffic only). Go straight over the mini roundabout and turn right at the Stokesley Motors roundabout. We are on the left of the High Street past the Town Hall.
